Main properties and field of usage

It is a colourless transparent liquid with a strong smell.

Depending on the purpose three grades of liquid ammonia are produced:

          A – for nitric acid production, for nitration, as a cooling agent and for protective atmosphere   creation;

          Ak – for exporting and transporting in ammonia-supply pipeline;

          B – for refining into fertilizers and for usage in agriculture as a nitrogen fertilizer.

 Notes:

Less than 0,2% fraction of total water mass and its increasing to 0,2-0,4% at port plants is allowed for liquid ammonia of grade Ak transported in tank cars and of grade B.

Package

Liquid ammonia is transported in special ammonia tank cars, tank trucks and steel containers.

Guarantee storage life

1 year from the date of manufacturing.
